Opt-Outs & Expulsions
How alliances leave or are removed from NAP 9, and what happens next.
Opt-Out (Voluntary)
- Declare publicly in
#nap-announcements. - Immediate consequences: loss of all NAP protection, loss of L1–L5 protection, mandatory release of all L6 (may be forcibly seized), no evidence/appeal rights.
- 7-day cooldown before re-entry.
Expulsion (Supermajority)
- Grounds: harboring blacklisted players, refusing penalties, repeated non-responsiveness, undermining operations, coordinated misconduct, cross-server collusion.
- Requires Supermajority (7 YES).
- Consequences mirror opt-out plus 30-day loss of rights by default.
Reinstatement
- File a petition after cooldown/compliance.
- Requires Simple Majority approval and full compliance with outstanding rulings.
Associate Removal
- Associates may be removed by Simple Majority for non-response, interfering with governance, refusing rulings, or harboring blacklisted players. Vacancies fill from the waiting queue.
Practical Notes
- NAP protections end immediately on opt-out/expulsion—do not rely on grace periods.
- L6 seizures from departing alliances may be handled via Emergency vote if contested.***
